Linda S. Law-Saunders from the Cornell University Cooperative Extension, Washington County, visited our second grade classes to teach students about sourcing fleece and wool and how to weave wool into felt.

Students read “Weaving the Rainbow” by George Ella Lyon while crafting felt with their hands. This project was one of the many winter classroom opportunities hosted by the Cornell University Cooperative Extension, Washington County.
