Welcome to my webpage!
I am a Special Education Teacher here at Salem Central School and
this year I am
working with students in grades 4-7. I
began teaching in Salem in 1999.
This year I
will provide Consultant Teacher Services within the academic areas
of Math and
English Language Arts.
This allows me to work with your child in their classroom
during instructional times.
I am able to make accommodations and modifications or,
reinforce skills as needed throughout the lesson. I will also provide a Resource
Room time where students can work within a smaller group setting
focusing on
individual needs which are supported and
defined by each student’s IEP.
In addition,
I will be providing Special Class Instruction. This program will be individualized to
meet the student’s needs within the academic areas of
Reading, Spelling, Written
Expression, and Phonics.
It is my goal to provide instruction and educational support
that is responsive to the individual needs of each student. Please contact me with
any questions or concerns at anytime
throughout the school year.
