Elementary Library Policy

Check Out Procedures:

Kindergarten students can check out one book at a time. The kindergarten students can exchange library books on a daily basis.

Grades 1-3 can check out two books at a time.

Grades 4-6 can check out three books at a time.

Library Hours:

The library is open on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00am-3:12pm.

Overdue Library Books:

Students are reminded each library class how many books they have overdue and are encouraged to return them on time.

Overdue notices are sent home monthly

Elementary Library Computer Lab Policy

We have nine computers in our library computer lab that can be used by students.

These computers are used during library classes to teach students how to use the library card catalog, databases and the internet as well as to teach inquiry and research skills.

The computers can also be used by the students to complete projects for other classes if they are not in use by a library class.

Computers may only be used for school purposes. Misuse of computers will result in a loss of privileges.
