February is here and the snow is not!! What a change in seasons!! 47 degrees is the new 20 degrees!! We’ll take it!!
Our students are reading.
A two page list of words was sent home this week to work on. Work on speed!! The faster your child can respond to
the sight vocabulary, the better.
We are studying ordinal numbers 1st-10th this week.
Friendship will be discussed throughout the month of February. Getting along using the school rules
will be reviewed. We will have a
Valentine’s Day Celebration on February 14th. Treats will be sent in by: Rye and Elexis; Patrick will bring in
15 juice boxes/pouches; Kenneth will bring in plates. Valentines can be sent in by the students. A class list and more details will
follow.
Social Studies brings the presidents into light. George Washington, Abraham Lincoln,
and President Obama will be the United States Presidents most often
discussed.
Events: February 2-Assembly @ 9:00-10:00a.m. February 14-Valemtine’s Day Celebration Mrs. Hansen will
be working on the following character traits with the whole school this
year: Respect, perseverance,
positive attitude, and honesty. |
