Welcome to Studio in Art

Studio in Art is designed as an introductory high school course, a survey of art techniques, media, styles and a smattering of art history.

Studio in Art prepares students for advanced art electives that can be taken in 10th, 11th and 12th grade, like Drawing and Painting, Photography, Computer Art and Crafts.

OF ARTWORK are due on

Friday, June 10th,

before the second part of

the final exam!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As the end of this semester approaches, students will be assessing their work from the entire year and putting together a portfolio of their best work.

For students studying the visual arts, portfolio compilation, assessment and reflection is an important part of the process. Why?

A PORTFOLIO is: a record of artistic growth; a clean, neat, organized, protective place to keep treasured artworks; a handy and available presentation method.
