Dear Families,
You are invited to shop at our Scholastic Book Fair. All purchases benefit the Salem Central School Libraries and connect kids with new books, favorite characters, complete series and more.
The book fair will be in-person and online. The in-person book fair will be in the Elementary Library from March 27-March 31, 2023. The online book fair will be from March 27-April 9, 2023. The students will visit the book fair during their Library Class. The book fair will also be open during Open House on March 30, 2023.

The Elementary Library Media Center offers many online databases and encyclopedias for our school community. These programs are available for use at school and at home. The link above provides access to these online tools. We will send a flyer home with your child that lists the username and password for all of the programs.

Come join the fun at the Elementary Library Makerspace. A makerspace is a place where students can invent, create, and learn. They can work on do-it-yourself projects while also sharing their expertise and learning with other students. We will have many activities and tools set up in the Elementary Library for the students to use for creating, sharing and learning. The materials and tools will vary from week to week based on the interests of the students. We will offer makerspace sessions for other grade levels throughout the school year.
