Message from the Superintendent - Three New Positive COVID-19 Cases

May 1, 2021

Dear Parents, Guardians and Community Members,

The district learned that three individuals in the district tested positive for COVID-19 and are now in quarantine. Please note that the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other privacy laws restrict us from disclosing or confirming any personally identifiable information. We cannot identify anyone who has tested positive.

Neither of the three individuals have been in the school, so there is no impact on instruction.

The district has been following all the proper protocols for daily temperature checks, physical distancing, mask wearing, and hand washing, but as an added measure of precaution, please monitor your child(ren) for any symptoms of COVID, which can be found on the CDC website.

If you would like information about testing procedures, please call Washington County Public Health at (518) 747-7520.
