FFA Chapter Receives Monetary Donation from Zoetis Industry Support program

Our FFA chapter received a monetary donation from the Zoetis Industry Support program in coordination with Rupert Veterinary Clinic of Rupert, VT.

Through the annual program, veterinarians and animal health suppliers who purchase Zoetis cattle and equine products can elect to have Zoetis donate a percentage of their sales on behalf of the reseller to the FFA chapter of their choice. The Rupert Veterinary Clinic selected Salem’s FFA chapter as the recipient.

The chapter used the funds to provide an FFA jacket as an award at the 2021 banquet, and to sponsor students traveling to the 94th National FFA Convention & Expo to be held in Indianapolis at the end of October.

Robert Ceglowski, DVM, and partner at Rupert Veterinary Clinic stated, “Our practice is pleased to partner with Zoetis in supporting Salem’s FFA chapter. The students are incredible ambassadors of the agriculture industry, as well as serving their community. We are happy to serve them with resources.”

The Salem FFA’s chapter advisor is Salem Washington Academy’s agricultural science teacher, Mrs. Amy Maxwell.
