Dear SWA School Community Members,

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Cheryl Record as the Elementary Principal beginning July 1, 2023.  Mrs. Record is currently the Assistant Principal at Greenwich Elementary School, where she has served in this role since 2013. Prior to that, she taught as a 6th grade teacher and served as Dean of Students. She holds degrees in the areas of Elementary Education and Students with Special Needs (N-9) as well as a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Administration.  

I am also pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Sean Graney as the Jr/Sr High School Principal beginning July 1, 2023. Mr. Graney is currently a Social Studies Teacher at Corinth High School, where he has served since 2017. He is also the Dean of Students for grades 5 through 8 at Corinth Middle School and has served as the Assistant Principal of the summer school program at the high school level.  Prior to that, he taught Social Studies at Vanderheyden School. Mr. Graney holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, a Master of Science in Education, and a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Building Leadership.
