Plans are underway for the Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Orientation program for the 2026-2027 school year. The first step in the process is for the school to have an accurate list of all children in the district that will be either 4 or 5 years old on or before December 1, 2026. If you have not already done so, all parents of children who will be entering PK or Kindergarten this September should contact the elementary office at (518) 854-9505 and provide the district with the required information.
Parent Information Night for Pre-K
When: Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 5:45 PM in the Primary Gym
Screening Dates: May 12th and 13th, 2026 in the Primary Gym
An informational meeting for parents of PK students will be held on April 23 in the primary gymnasium at 5:45 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about our Pre-K program, meet the teachers, and ask any questions you may have. Parents will also be able to return their child’s registration packet and learn about upcoming screening sessions and health requirements. The pre-kindergarten class is capped at twenty, so there will be a lottery process if the total enrollment exceeds 20 students.
Parent Information Night for Kindergarten
When: Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 5:45 PM in the Primary Gym
Screening Dates: Wednesday, May 27, and Thursday, May 28, 2026 in the Primary Gym
An informational meeting for parents of Kindergarten students will be held on May 7 in the primary gymnasium at 5:45 PM. Parents will also be able to return their child’s registration packet and learn about upcoming screening sessions for incoming Kindergarten children (who have not attended our PK program).
If you have a child who will be four or five years old on or before December 1, 2026, you will be receiving an information packet soon. If you are new to the district and have a kindergarten age child, please be sure to call the elementary office to register your child.
Lastly, if you do not receive an information packet by the end of March, be sure to call the elementary office immediately.
