With school out for the summer, many families may be wondering what food and nutrition resources are available while classes are not in session. This article provides information about the nutritional services and meal programs available to students and their families throughout the summer months, helping ensure continued access to healthy meals during the break.
Summer EBT Food Benefits
The Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) program will help families buy food for their school-aged children during the summer. Families will get $120 in food benefits for each eligible child.

Summer Food Program
The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a federally funded, state-administered program. The SFSP reimburses providers who serve healthy meals to children and teens in low-income areas at no charge, primarily during the summer months when school is not in session.
