A special shout-out to the Salem FFA! Thanks for a great tour at the fair. I am always impressed by the exhibits and knowledge of our students. I can't wait to see and hear more about them in the future! #SalemPride #FFA #EveryStudentFutureReady @Ms_AdamsSWA

Had so much fun at the milking contest on Friday at the Fair! Got to hang out with SWA students Anna Maxwell, the Washington County Dairy Princess and Adolly Harsha, Dairy Ambassador. Adolly and I came in 4th! 🐄 #SalemPride #GoGenerals #EveryStudentFutureReady @Ms_AdamsSWA

Hello Salem Families,
The schedules for jr./sr. high school students will be available early next week. We apologize for the delay in getting them out to you, but we have had a few last minute changes that have held the process up. We look forward to seeing the 7th grade class for orientation on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. Schedules will be available by that time. We appreciate your patience and look forward to starting another great year at Salem Washington Academy.

We have 15 backpacks up for grabs donated by Hill and Markes. They will be distributed to the first 15 to contact Wendy Cary at wcary@salemcsd.org.

What a great night at the Salem FFA dinner. So proud of our students and recent grads! Stop by the FFA Farmland at the Washington County Fair and see them in action! #SWA #SalemPride #GoGenerals #EveryStudentFutureReady

Mrs. Dawn Parker's chemistry students think creating polymers in a chemistry lab is a great stress reducer as they head into Regents exams.

Monday, May 8 at 5 p.m. - Policy Committee Meeting in the Jr./Sr. High School distance learning room.

Mrs. Dawn Parker's chemistry students think creating polymers in a chemistry lab is slime taskic. They made fluffy slime from shaving cream and silly putty slime from glue, which are all polymers.
